SchoolFund workshops

Join us in at the TRA Training Center in Wilmington, NC for hands-on, half-day workshops. Whether a new user or more experienced, bring your own data, and participate in a small class setting. All workshops are lead by certified, experienced TRA instructors. The half-day workshop fee is $95 per person, which includes all workshop materials and refreshments. No prepayment necessary, we’ll invoice you after the class.

Class descriptions are explained below, along with a link to the current schedule. Call 910-799-2252 to register for a class or register online by clicking on schedule & registration. Due to class size limits, registrations are accepted on a space-available basis only. After registering, you will receive a confirmation letter with a Wilmington map and directions. We also have hotel information to share. TRA may reschedule workshops if a minimum class size of three is not met.

SchoolFunds New User
 This class is designed for our new users who would like some “official” training on SchoolFunds. As a participant, you will use a computer loaded with your school data to make the exercises very relevant to your needs. We cover everything from setup procedures through bank reconciliation and all the activities in-between! After attending this session, you will be ready to use SchoolFunds with confidence.
SchoolFunds Review
 This class is especially for our users who have been using SchoolFunds for some time and are interested in a review of hot topics such as: reconciling the bank statement, handling NSF checks, writing off old checks, journal entries, new release enhancements, and much more. Bring your backup data to class and review your own transactions.
On-site SchoolFunds Review
 Can’t come to use? We’ll come to you! On-site group review sessions have proven to be very popular for our users interested in some follow-up training. Six to nine months following the initial installation session is a good time to get everyone back together and let our TRA instructors return to answer questions and share advanced techniques. Some districts invite us back annually to review new release enhancements and train new users. Reviews are a half-day; choose a morning or afternoon that will fit your schedule. For a minimum of five participants, the cost for the on-site review session is a group rate of $500. Pick a date and call TRA to arrange a review session at your site.
